PITCH Webinar: New Approaches in Integration – A Model to Support Integration Strategy Building
We are pleased to announce the upcoming Webinar on the White Paper of the PITCH project, scheduled for 5 November 2024 at 10:00 CET.
PITCH, launched on January 1, 2022, is a three-year project funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). PITCH – A Model for Gender-Sensitive Integration Strategies Based on Personalised, Participatory, Localised, and Multi-Stakeholder Approaches, reflects on its mission.
UBC is proud to be one of the project partners.
The goal of PITCH is to establish a common European framework to support the development of local integration strategies tailored to foreign-born women. Through a co-designed model, the partnership has implemented these strategies in seven countries: Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania, and Sweden.
One key result of the project is the White Paper, developed by UBC. This document synthesises the experiences of project partners and outlines the PITCH Model, providing recommendations on its application and adaptation to local contexts. The White Paper also addresses the integration challenges identified in the participating countries.
During the webinar, we will introduce the White Paper and share insights from project partners in Sweden, Lithuania, and Spain, who will discuss their experiences during the pilot phase of the local integration strategies. Additionally, the Immigrant Support Center in Gdańsk will present a local example of migrant support.
Register here by 31 October 2024: Registration link. Registered participants will receive the webinar link the day before the event.
